Renew Christmas Tables

Hello all! Our table leaders are awesome! They decorated the Renew tables for our December 20 meeting (the snowed out meeting), but no one was able to see them :( BUT.....here are the pictures of each table. Thank you for working so hard, DGLs! As Allison Warner said, "it made me think how all of your personalities are unique and how God has put you at your table for a reason to bring your talents and gifts to the ladies at your table!"

Hello Ladies! I apologize for the blog not being updated with pictures :( I was not able to come to the December 6 meeting, today's Christmas party/book swap, or our next meeting December 20. My daddy passed away unexpectedly 3 weeks ago and my grandfather passed away last week, so I'm staying in Mississippi with my family until Christmas. If any of you took pictures or want to email me (katieesimmons12@yahoo.com) some pics of meetings to come, I can put them on here. I'm so sorry. Wish all my Renew sisters a Merry Christmas! Friend Day!

What a fun day at Renew!! We had several friends who joined us for friend day! So excited for new moms to experience what Renew is about.  We had a lot of time to mingle at this meeting, which was so nice for moms who really wanted to connect and "get renewed"! And wasn't the craft awesome! Thank you, Katie Blake for the fun plates we got to decorate. In case you didn't hear (because I was talking to people at my table!) don't forget to bake your plate at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Can't wait until our Christmas meeting with Pastor Chris on December 6!

Brian Richardson

So we all have been implementing Brian's suggestions on disciplining our children, right? I hope everyone took notes during that amazing talk Brian gave. He has awesome suggestions....I want him to come work on my 3 year old! Thank you, Brian for sharing tips with us on how to better learn our childrens' hearts and lead them to Christ. And just a reminder to myself: check my emotional thermostat daily to be a better role model for my children. Thank you, Sandy for your reminders that we are not alone when we become a little emotional and overloaded as moms.

Operation Christmas Child

What a blessing! We filled 49.....yes 49 shoeboxes!!! Thanks to all of you, 49 children will be able to hear the word of God and be extremely blessed. THANK YOU!!!

Don't forget about the recipe box. There were MANY amazing dishes at our last meeting. So get out there and put it in the recipe box. Maybe we can get some recipes for Thanksgiving!
