Friend Day!

What a fun day at Renew!! We had several friends who joined us for friend day! So excited for new moms to experience what Renew is about.  We had a lot of time to mingle at this meeting, which was so nice for moms who really wanted to connect and "get renewed"! And wasn't the craft awesome! Thank you, Katie Blake for the fun plates we got to decorate. In case you didn't hear (because I was talking to people at my table!) don't forget to bake your plate at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Can't wait until our Christmas meeting with Pastor Chris on December 6!

So we all have been implementing Brian's suggestions on disciplining our children, right? I hope everyone took notes during that amazing talk Brian gave. He has awesome suggestions....I want him to come work on my 3 year old! Thank you, Brian for sharing tips with us on how to better learn our childrens' hearts and lead them to Christ. And just a reminder to myself: check my emotional thermostat daily to be a better role model for my children. Thank you, Sandy for your reminders that we are not alone when we become a little emotional and overloaded as moms.
